Real estate may be a new concept for Darryl, but more than a tedious task to learn, he saw it as an opportunity to grow and develop in a different field. Having worked in a travel technology firm as an Admin Officer, he already mastered the art of communication. He then worked closely with the management team and handled people under his scope. Little did he know, he was already preparing for a job that requires interaction and engagement every now and then.

As an offshore Property Management Assistant, Darryl’s job focuses on the processing of applications for leases–ensuring all applicants complete their application with all the necessary documents and references needed. He also works on the creation of agreements for approved properties and uploads them to the virtual system to inform the owners, tenants, and property managers of any updates regarding a specific property.

The very nature of his role keeps him thrilled and excited on a daily basis. Engaging with different kinds of people–from the directors, owners, property managers, and applicants–is what Darryl loves the most. He finds fulfilment whenever an application is successfully processed, thinking he played a significant role in fulfilling the dreams of people. On the contrary, when asked about the biggest challenge for him, he mentioned how technical issues can be troublesome at times, but in general, he only has positive words for the whole process.

Outside the work setting, you’ll meet the sporty side of Darryl. During his childhood years, he was playing basketball and table tennis, but eventually switched and focused on volleyball where he became a varsity player, back when he was still at school. Now that he’s a professional, he still enjoys playing with friends or just watching live sports games. Not only that, but he also loves to go on road trips, food trips, and even clubbing with them.

While he seems to have an active and sociable lifestyle, Darryl also serves and volunteers in his church as a lector or commentator to balance everything out. He doesn't consider himself an introvert or an extrovert, but he can adapt easily to different situations and people.
