As most of her friends describe her, she’s considerate, generous, and understanding & apart from her years of experience in the industry, the colours that make up her palette include her fun yet professional work ethic. It’s no wonder then, that she complements well with the Team in fulfilling its promised masterpiece: to bring positive experiences to people.

Here’s to another bright addition to the most colourful real estate family across Tasmania! Let’s all welcome the newest ray of sunshine at 4one4 Property Co., Taylese Butterworth!

Taylese’s real estate canvass began to be filled with artwork straight after high school. She started working as a Receptionist for a year and when she realised her heart belonged to the Property Management Department, she began her career as a property manager. After she gave birth to her lovely first born Daughter, she switched things up a bit and made a move to Aged Care. But after about a year, Taylese found her way to the real estate industry knowing that her heart truly lie there. She spent a large portion of her career working with those in need, assisting clients navigate a government scheme that offers affordable housing as a property manager. So overall, Taylese had already spent around 9 years of her life mastering the arts of real estate, when she found the doors of 4one4 Property Co.

Although no two days are the same in the lane of property management, Taylese agrees that her experiences in the industry would help her a lot in her new job. “I think you can’t really be prepared. But I would like to think that some scenarios have arisen more than once since I’ve been doing property management. So, I’ve dealt a lot with some tricky situations; I’ve also dealt with some nice ones,” Taylese mentioned. “So, I feel that I do have experience in that area as I’ve been able to learn from the past situations/circumstances,” she added.

One of the main reasons that she found 4one4 Property Co. attractive is the fact that her beliefs greatly aligned with those of the agency’s principles.

“The campaign with Climagap, I saw that on Facebook! I actually said to my husband ‘I’d love to work at 4one4’. I just feel that they align with what I believe.”

She also revealed that she had been talking to one of our former property managers, Sara, who was also a Superstar and whose role she has filled as she spreads her wings wider and joins a government department (Hehe It’s almost like one of those job swap reality TV shows?!)  With the aligning of ideals and a strong recommendation from Sara, Taylese was able to picture herself working within the 4one4 framework. And now that she has been with the family for a month now, she loves how welcoming and helpful all the guys are. She noticed how everyone can be fun while maintaining the utmost professionalism.

A property manager’s role can at times be tricky, so when she has some spare time, Taylese makes sure to spend it with the things and people she loves the most. Outside the work setting, Taylese is a loving mumma bear to her 18-month-old son and 6-year-old daughter. She spends most of her free time hanging out with her family. Their usual bonding moments are made up of caravan and bike adventures as many . They love to pack up the camping gear  and with their caravan in tow hit up as many uncharted areas they can. Bike riding makes them feel most alive, too. (again, another perfect fit for all our bike riding enthusiasts at 4one4 Property Co.)

When she’s alone, Taylese shared that she likes to read. Her current favourite genre is psychological thriller but she mentioned that she’ll begin to read other genres, too, especially inspirational ones. That’s her way of switching off from reality and just genuinely enjoying the peaceful and calming vibe reading gives off.

With your new role, what are you looking forward to?

“I’m just looking forward to a nice place to work. It’s a good team environment here–very positive and energetic. I’m looking forward to doing the job with a good team.”

What characteristics will you be needing to spell a difference in this role?

“I think the characteristics that a good property manager should have are problem-solving and time management skills. Those two are very important for this role.”

What do you like most about 4one4 Property Co.?

“I like the fact that everyone seems to be friendly and welcoming. Everyone is fun but serious when it comes to working duties. Most importantly, I love the work-life balance here!”

On the side of real estate, what do you consider as your greatest achievement by far?

“I have enjoyed, obviously, my previous job. It was a government scheme for affordable housing and it was different with real estate and I’ve been doing it for so long. But when I did step up into property management officially again, I renewed my license with flying colours–I passed the exam and I didn’t have to study too hard for it the second time round.”

As one of her friends says, Taylese is fond of making people feel special.
