Bertie’s on Albert
This one’s for the sweet tooth – perfect for kids and kids-at-heart! While the original Valhalla store has now closed its doors, you can still get your fix of their legendary ice cream at Berties on Albert. Proudly serving Valhalla since opening, Berties scoops up the same creamy goodness made with real Tasmanian cream – a treat locals have loved since 1989.
With over forty delicious flavours of ice cream and non-dairy sorbets (our current favourite is the Salted Caramel Crunch), there’s something for everyone. Plus, if you’re celebrating something special, they’ve got Valhalla ice cream cakes available at great prices.
Swing by Berties on Albert, located at 51 Albert Road, from 9:00am on weekdays and 10:00am on weekends. Just make sure you pop in before 5:00pm, because that’s when the shutters roll down!
