The newest addition to the 4one4 Property Management team is one who has dipped her toes into many facets of the real estate game- she has had a tinker in real estate admin, flirted with the idea of sales and luckily for us, her heart firmly belongs to the world of Property Management.
She is a Funny, fun loving individual (a perfect fit for 4one) who has a passion for the Property and an even bigger passion for her daughter. A property management assistant by day; and a loving mumma bear at heart. Her current motivation pushing her forward each day is her beautiful 3-year-old daughter, Lyla.
Our loving, and lovable, 4one4 family brings in her mum-derful experience; so without further ado, we officially welcome you to the 4one4 Property Co.Team, Mikayla Hall!
Turning a decade in the real estate industry, Mikayla undoubtedly has trained herself for all the battles she has taken and will continuously be taking in the field. At the age of 18, the little voice in her heart began to sound clear when she went to Melbourne and worked in the admin side of real estate. After some time on the Mainland, she returned to her home town of Hobart and began to hear a louder voice of determination when she started learning the language of Sales as an assistant.
What started from a little murmur, was now a loud screaming voice of passion from her heart- leading her way to the aisle of Property Management!!!
Fast forward to today and she’s fearlessly rocking her chosen career path in Property Managment for almost 4 years now and isn’t look back!
The world can be a strange place for everyone–and for Mikayla, too. Growing up, she was completely clueless that this is the career path that she would take. “I don’t think I really knew I wanted to be here. I always thought I wanted to be in child care. But then, when I moved to Melbourne and I was just looking around at what jobs were available, I saw the description of the admin one at real estate and I kinda fell into it. It wasn’t really a plan but I loved it! I knew straight away that I wanted to stay in the industry even when I went back from Melbourne,” narrated Mikayla.
We’re guessing the universe and the stars did their job again!!! (*wink)
Since Mikayla has been navigating her way around the real estate industry for a total of 9 years now, she believes her previous experiences will help her in her new role at 4one4 Property Co.
“I think I’ve got a really good knowledge of the industry, I’ve been here for such a long time. I like to think I know a few things about it, so I think that’s good, but I can always keep learning,” she explained.
With her current job, Mikayla shared how diverse and surprising her role is. From helping the other girls in the department, she always finds something to explore every day. “Every inspection is different–every tenant, every landlord. There’s always different scenarios and that’s what makes my job more exciting.” Considering her past experiences and her journey with us by far, she shared that what makes her happy the most is the thought of helping people fulfil their real estate dreams.
As a hard worker, she still finds time to take a break when needed. When she’s not working, you can find her at home looking after her lovely daughter, which she termed as her “whole world”!!! On the weekends and after work, Mikayla’s ‘whole world’s’ number 1 request is always a visit to the park.
Another special mummy and daughter treat they have is doing all the girly things together; such as taking Lyla with her to the salon when getting her nails done and going shopping from time to time. Above all, Mikayla loves to stay at home while watching her play and go visit their family and friends at times.
“My life revolves around her. I’m having Fridays off with this role so I get to spend time with her. Because she’s going to school in a few years, so I think I should make the most of it before she goes to school.”

Prior to joining the real estate world, who was Mikayla Hall a decade ago?
“I actually started to work when I was 14 years old in a fast-food chain. Prior to my real estate journey, my last job was at a bakery when I was 17. I worked there for some friends.”
What are your expectations with your new role/company?
“I’ve been to a lot of places for the long term. In my previous job, I’ve been there for 6 years–I’m very loyal. I hope to just stay here and learn a lot from the girls. I’ve already learned heaps in the week that I’ve been here. They do things very well. Their assistance is amazing. I just want to keep growing with my role. I’ve done lots of different roles in real estate, but I really do like property management. So yeah, I just want to keep learning, and you can learn from this job every day.”
What do you like most about your new team at 4one4 Property Co.?
“I think they have a really good brand and I’ve learned that a lot of people have been here for a long time–so that’s important to me. Obviously, when people stay in places for a long time, that means it has a good culture and I like how closely everyone works together as they seem like a very good team. One thing that’s very important in real estate is that you do have a good team that will help you and will be there for each other.
With your experiences in real estate, what do you consider as your greatest achievement so far?
“Probably, the thing that makes me happy is I know that I can help people–that’s the part I like the most. Obviously, you can’t please everybody in real estate, but it is nice when you do get appreciation from tenants and landlords that you have helped them or even when I was in Sales, when people do purchase or sell their houses, I just like seeing how happy they are when it goes through.”
Do you have any fun facts about you that many people may not know yet?
“When I was a baby, I won ‘Funniest Home Videos’, a television show that presents home videos sent in by viewers. I used to crawl really funny on my belly when I was a baby. Mum and dad sent the video and I won!”
As her closest friends would most probably describe her, Mikayla is very funny, loyal, and you’ll just have waves of laughter when you’re with her. And with her time so far at 4one4 Property Co., we can really see how her light and funny aura surrounds her positive vibe. Well, we’re looking forward to cracking more laughter and smiles as we move and grow as a team and as one family.
